The New York City Master Chorale (NYCMC) presents a “Summer Series” of musical and vocal technique workshops open to singers of all levels!
IPA Workshop, Featuring Alex Resnick
June 24, 2026 at 7pm
Come join us on June 24 in Studio 1006 at AMDA for our inaugural session on IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet), an interactive, in-person workshop where you can learn more about IPA and how it can be leveraged to better sing or speak in any language. This workshop will be introductory but is open to all skill and familiarity levels of IPA and vocal techniques.
Vocal Production Workshop, Featuring David Recca
July 15th, 2026 at 7pm
Come join us on July 15 in room 1302 at AMDA for our second series session with our very own Artistic Director, David Recca. Take a deeper dive into vocal production to better understand your natural voice so you can perform with more awareness, artistry, and efficiency. This in-person workshop is open to all levels.
Embodied Movement Workshop, Featuring Kevin Michael Murphy

Come join us on August 12 in room 1302 at AMDA for last session of the inaugural 2026 season. Utilizing learnings from the Feldenkrais Method and Alexander Technique, practice better mind-body connection as you sing to help improve your breath control, posture, and performance overall.
